The BODY is a Covin fibreglass replica of a 911 turbo pre-89 currently in white gel-coat but will be prepared and sprayed porsche guards red by myself as the build progresses.It was originally meant to sit on a VW Beetle floorpan so most of the inner wings and bulkheads have had to be removed.
The CHASSIS is of ladder frame construction and was originally meant for a Cobra replica but has been shortened some 6",new front bulkhead and boot floor fabricated and a 8-point roll cage welded in.
SUSPENSION is generally XJ6 Jaguar with some modifications.Spax coilovers all round (2 on rear instead of Jags 4)with modified lower front wishbones.Shortened rear driveshafts and lower arms.Poly bushes will be installed.
STEERING consists of Ford Sierra rack,Capri column and fabricated steering coupling.
BRAKES are XJ6 with 4-pot front calipers,inboard discs on the rear.A modified Mk2 Escort bias pedal box will be installed without servos.


ENGINE is 7.6ltr (460 cu in) Ford bigblock from a 1973 Lincoln Continental fitted with a 750cfm 4-barrel holley and headers.Future mods will include raising the compression,some head work and a new camshaft with a target of 400bhp.
GEARBOX is the Ford C6 3-speed operated by an XJ6 shifter
DIFFERENTIAL is a Powerlok from a V12 Jag.
ANCILLARIES.The cooling system comprises of a modified XJ12 radiator with twin fans,a combination of silicon and stainless hoses and a Mini Metro expansion tank mounted beneath the fuel filler cap in the n/s wing.A stainless fuel tank is mounted in the boot which also houses the battery.Exhaust is mostly Jetex,2.5" diameter with straight thru' silencers mounted under the boot floor.
INTERIOR is 2 bucket seats,3-point harnesses and that monster rollcage.An ETB digital instrument display is likely to be installed.
